Job description

Programme Design & Delivery

  • Design and curate curriculum and content that are evidence-informed and based on social work theories supporting children-at-risk holistically in their education, social, mental, and emotional wellbeing, as well as self-leadership and parental involvement to strengthen the family unit.
  • Design and curate events and holiday initiatives to support children's mental and emotional wellbeing by building character, values, and essential life skills to handle transitional stressors.
  • Stay updated on emerging challenges, trends, and community needs to ensure programmes remain relevant and impactful for children and families-at-risk.
  • Collaborate with community partners, volunteers, and stakeholders to create meaningful impacts for children and families-at-risk.
  • Facilitate workshops and sessions for children through experiential learning methods.
  • Manage and attend to children with child-centric approaches during programme sessions.

Programme Administration

  • Coordinate programme logistics, materials, manpower, and other resources needed for sessions and events.
  • Manage volunteers through intentional journeying and guidance; provide pre-session briefings.
  • Communicate regularly with parents to update them on key learnings, take-home activities, and their children's progress.
  • Collect and analyze evidence-based evaluations, track outcomes, and gather feedback to enhance programme effectiveness.
  • Manage recruitment and termination of clients and volunteers, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
  • Prepare reports, documentation, and collateral materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage resource allocation and monitor programme budgets and expenses.
  • Oversee administrative tasks and support the team to ensure smooth programme delivery.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Social Work Diploma/Degree.
  • Minimally 4-5 years of experience in programme planning and facilitation with children and families.
