Summary
Asia Pacific Sales (APS) is looking for a strategic and experienced Channel Sales Manager (CSM) in Southeast Asia. This region is a growth engine of APS with exciting opportunities spread across the highly diverse countries.
The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing high impact channel program strategies across South East Asia. This role includes leading a diverse team of channel managers across South East Asia, driving order growth through indirect sales channels. The Channel Manager will work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and internal teams to support partner success and Keysight business goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, excellent communications skills and a deep understanding of channel dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a diverse team of channel managers across Southeast Asian markets.
- Develop and implement channel strategies to expand market reach and drive order growth
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners to achieve sales targets.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with existing partners to increase partner commitment and prioritize selling Keysight product over competing offerings
- Collaborate with cross functional teams (Direct sales, marketing, operation, finance) to resolve any product technical and commercial issues to support partner success
- Design and manage partner incentive programs to boost engagement and performance
- Monitor partner performance, and provide actionable insights to optimize
- Champion Channel enabler programs to provide training to partners on products, services, and sales techniques.
- Collaborate with marketing to create co-branded campaigns and promotional materials.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics
Competencies
- Exceptional business acumen and deep understanding of Southeast Asia market dynamics, ecosystem, economic situation and global technology growth trends.
- Ability to analyse market trends and competitor positioning
- Able to coach channel managers to manage partner relationship, resolve conflict and negotiate to advance business opportunities
- Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills to enable synergies with the rest of APS and South Asia Pacific, other regions and cross-functional teams to build synergy and strong partnership for success.
- Deep understanding of the market dynamics, ecosystem and business opportunities in the sales region and global market opportunities.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or business development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Deep understanding of Southeast Asia market growth opportunities, ecosystem, and technology trends.
- Strong understanding of indirect sales models and partner ecosystems.
- Have worked and demonstrated understanding across diverse technology domains and industry segments is a plus.
- High drive, passion and commitment to excel in a highly diversified Southeast Asia.
- Effective communication skills to articulate ideas and plans. Strong command of English, both written and spoken
