General Summary

As Key Accounts Director, you will understand the competitive landscape and market trends. You will be responsible for maintaining sales volume and profitable growth by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, and economic indicators. You will work collaboratively with the Editorial, Events, Services, and Marketing teams while utilizing operational support. You also will ensure accurate reporting and other internal intelligence is provided to team Leadership.

This role is based in Singapore. To be considered, candidates must currently reside in Singapore and be legally authorized to work in Singapore without sponsorship (e.g., Singapore citizens or permanent residents).

You will sit directly with the Account Specialist team, work in close collaboration with Editorial, Events, Services, and Marketing Teams, and report to the Senior Director, Sales.

Core Functions:

  • Manage and build relationships with Key Dealer accounts to achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue goals for your respective territories.
  • Maintain the Key Dealer database, ensuring it is up to date and accurate, including adding new Key Dealer accounts and maintaining buyers’ contact information.
  • Keep up to date on relevant import/export laws for the country in which the dealer does business.
  • Develop programs to drive sales and channel goals to include tracking and reporting results to Sr. Director of Sales.
  • Continual AB testing of various marketing and sales programs via online retailers determining most impactful and effective.
  • Regularly advises Sr. Director of Sales and Music Brands Executive Management on health of key accounts, to include KPIs and proposed solutions.
  • Create revenue forecasts for key accounts in conjunction with Sr. Director of Sales.
  • Work with trade marketing to develop overall strategy and implementation plan for marketing initiatives.
  • Occasionally travel to trade shows and sales territories.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Expert knowledge of professional sales concepts, strategies, management techniques and methodology.
  • Minimum of 10 years of sales experience or related field.
  • Deep knowledge of the music industry, specifically retailer networks.
  • Computer business applications for Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Proper English usage, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Ability to perform basic statistics and mathematical computation.
