Job Purpose
  1. Pricing Analysis: Conduct Customer pricing analysis for country requests regarding special rates.
  2. Customized PIDs: Create Non-Standard PIDs (Customized PIDs) for special rates in GRE.
  3. GPI: Support the GPI (General Price Increase) annual exercise.
Responsibilities
  1. 1. Conduct Customer pricing analysis for country requests regarding special rates
  2. Assess customer analysis requests from country pricing teams and ensure that input information and strategy are complete.
  3. Extract data for existing customer business in place and prepare the respective customer pricing analysis report.
  4. Simulate and analyse entire customer business with existing and potential volumes using up-to-date pricing tools and systems.
  5. Generate accurate Customer Pricing Reports for responding to countries’ requests (including, but not limited to, the GRE Pricing comments/ recommendations, overall opportunity snapshot, detailed analysis by product, lane, and weight breaks, etc.).
  6. Ensure documentation of customer price analysis and reports according to standards.
  7. Where required, support the regional TRB process for any Key Account pricing that is eligible for regional TRB review.
  8. Maintain record keeping of statistics to support KAP process measurement, including tracking of the number of requests by country, turnaround-time (TAT), requests outside of agreed SLA, etc.
  9. Initiate and run continuous improvement initiatives/projects and workshops.
  10. Analyze reports and perform quality data cleansing in accordance with policies.
  1. 2. Create Non-Standard PIDs (Customized PIDs) for special rates in GRE
  2. Create rate cards from scratch as needed and/or PIDs in the GRE system based on the country pricing teams' input.
  3. Interpret overall country requests for price levels and translate these into specific target prices in Custom PIDs whilst ensuring that guidelines on minimum price levels, discounting, and GPP are followed.
  4. Ensure PIDs are fully GRE compliant.
  5. Included in this is the creation of PIDs for Global Customers (GRE local layer) from the Global Customers Alignment (GCA) team.
  6. Train new colleagues on the day-to-day job and perform audits on the work done by other colleagues.
  7. Deactivate outdated customised PIDs.
  8. Get involved in GRE deployment to support the creation of customised PIDs during the rating freeze period.
  9. Support GRE countries for escalation of system issues.

  3. Execute Off-cycle GPI for GRE countries.
  4. KAP GPI Lead as a first point of contact for the Country/Regional Pricing team, including validating GPI decision implementation, implementing country requests in GRE, ensuring sufficient resources to meet SLA, sanity check for Published/Predefined PIDs, and re-publish PIDs without any errors.
  5. Participate in weekly GPI call and business review meetings, provide feedback as part of continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Preferably +2 years of experience in related functions, desirable DHL Express experience in an analytical, financial, or Customer Accounting function.
  • Previous experience in Pricing, Costing, Pricing Implementation (GCI), Billing (CMF), Products/Marketing, and/or EKAD roles.
  • University degree with strong analytical background (e.g., Business Administration, Finance, Economics).
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
  • Outstanding analytical skills with a strong business perspective.
  • Communicating clearly with the ability to advise and influence people without having direct reporting lines.
  • Ability to work independently and results-oriented; ability to manage to deadlines and under pressure, as well as make decisions on pricing proposals.
