The main function of this role is to provide efficient and effective support and expertise to the customers in tandem with the Regional Travel Retail Director, in the assigned territory, growing the net / retail performance. To ensure that all commercial / sales opportunities are maximized through analysis of detailed and historical collaboration, developing client’s programs / reports, further growing the region, with current and potential customers.
Relationship with Customers
Work directly with Key / Top accounts, on a weekly basis to achieve all weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual goals (Unit and $ sales with focus on brand segments).
Liaise and proactively propose customers new orders placement in line with their sell-thru and inventory levels, especially when new collections are launched, encourage the customer to place orders regularly based on sales targets placed at the beginning of the year, and based on extensive knowledge of product.
Implement and Manage customer assortments by brands at the customer level; Interfaces with planner on inventory needs and changes to account assortments; Establishes Merchandising program in line with direction from corporate office, customized to meet customer needs.
Inform the customer pro-actively about the availability of pieces to place new orders with an assortment agreed together with the TR Regional Director.
Liaise with Customer Service in Italy weekly , understanding all issues around pending shipments, and helping prioritize importance of shipments from a commercial standpoint.
Build and provide tailored net and suggested retail price lists, for each unique account, jointly with the TR Regional Director.
Deal with clients to increase SOS leveraging current space available or to increase it through dedicated projects.
Forecasts weekly sales and for all special projects; Provides analysis of account sales, inventory, marketing initiatives and merchandising presentations.
Proactively provide regular analysis / reports to the individual customers about orders and invoices, to inform and guide them about their situation and opportunities to grow / accelerate their business.
Develop and lead sales and product presentations, conduct business reviews, using company provided reports and tools.
Manage buying sessions in Singapore, Milan, Greater China offices and through Red Carpet. Support in the organization of exhibitions and events in the Region.
Prepare reports and define presentations contents for fairs and meetings in tandem with Regional Director.
Business Development: sourcing new travel retail clients within the region.
Internal - Marketing, Training, Corporate Brand Teams, CS, Product, Operations, Finance, Planning, STARS team
External - Clients, Distibutors.
