Roles & Responsibilities:
As the Key Account Manager (KAM), you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key clients across strategic industries. This role will drive revenue growth, ensure customer satisfaction, and align company’s offerings with clients’ evolving calibration and metrology needs. Your other roles and responsibilities also include:
- Manage a portfolio of strategic accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Understand clients’ technical and operational requirements especially according to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) to deliver customized calibration solutions.
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and develop plans to capture them.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, coordinating with internal teams (Operations, Technical, Finance, etc.) to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Prepare and deliver business reviews, performance reports, and improvement plans.
- Manage the day-to-day relationship with the client, ensuring exceptional service delivery and satisfaction.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs) in collaboration with legal and finance teams.
- Monitor industry trends, customer feedback, and competitive activity to inform strategy.
- Support the onboarding of new key accounts and manage contract renewals.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales forecasts and pipeline updates.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates of all sales-related data, including CRM records, contracts, and billing documentation.
- Follow up on outstanding customer payments, support timely collections, and assist in resolving any payment issues.
To be a Successful Candidate:
- Possess at least Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering, business or related fields
- Having a minimum of 3 years’ experience in B2B sales or account management with proven track record of great achievements in managing and growing key accounts
- Having experience in calibration, testing, measurement, industrial services or technical product sales experience will be an added advantage
- Possess strong knowledge in Singapore markets and local business practices
- Ability to learn and master the knowledge of calibration technology
- Possess strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation, communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with strong organizational capabilities
- Attentive to details and data-driven
- Willingness to travel based on business needs
