Position: Key Account Manager (Oil and Gas / Energy/Marine Logistics)
Our client, a progressive logistics company, is looking to fill the following vacancy:
Responsibilities:
- Support customers with business issues and queries to meet their requirements and KPIs.
- Coordinate with internal teams to fulfill customer requirements.
- Identify cost savings and process improvements that benefit the customer.
- Support and execute annual account strategies to develop the account(s).
- Handle client pricing requests/queries promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Analyze reports to identify risk and growth opportunities for internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop KPIs with customers to monitor and ensure relationship and process continuity.
- Cement strategic partnerships with assigned accounts.
- Manage accounts by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing business with strategic clients.
- Lead presentations and prepare commercial proposals for clients.
- Develop industry-specific solutions.
- Participate in RFQs.
- Lead KPI reviews, business solutions, implementation, SOPs, and process improvement initiatives.
- Align pipeline strategies with corporate objectives.
- Ensure continuous processes to support business growth and meet client service requirements.
Requirements:
- Preferably 4-6+ years of experience in logistics or freight forwarding, especially in customer service or key account management.
- Knowledge of freight operations and client key account management in the Oil and Gas/EPC/Marine logistics sectors.
- Understanding of international logistics operations across multiple modes.
- Experience in client management.
