Position: Key Account Manager (Oil and Gas / Energy/Marine Logistics)

Our client, a progressive logistics company, is looking to fill the following vacancy:

Responsibilities:

  1. Support customers with business issues and queries to meet their requirements and KPIs.
  2. Coordinate with internal teams to fulfill customer requirements.
  3. Identify cost savings and process improvements that benefit the customer.
  4. Support and execute annual account strategies to develop the account(s).
  5. Handle client pricing requests/queries promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
  6. Analyze reports to identify risk and growth opportunities for internal and external stakeholders.
  7. Develop KPIs with customers to monitor and ensure relationship and process continuity.
  8. Cement strategic partnerships with assigned accounts.
  9. Manage accounts by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing business with strategic clients.
  10. Lead presentations and prepare commercial proposals for clients.
  11. Develop industry-specific solutions.
  12. Participate in RFQs.
  13. Lead KPI reviews, business solutions, implementation, SOPs, and process improvement initiatives.
  14. Align pipeline strategies with corporate objectives.
  15. Ensure continuous processes to support business growth and meet client service requirements.

Requirements:

  1. Preferably 4-6+ years of experience in logistics or freight forwarding, especially in customer service or key account management.
  2. Knowledge of freight operations and client key account management in the Oil and Gas/EPC/Marine logistics sectors.
  3. Understanding of international logistics operations across multiple modes.
  4. Experience in client management.
