Job Summary
- To achieve sales, profitability and growth target of BD products for the allocated accounts.
- Increase utilization of BD products by providing a broad range of pre and post-sales technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategize instrument and consumable pricing strategies in Singapore to maximize Diagnostic Solutions revenue and market share
- Achieve sales, profitability and growth targets of BD products
- Carry out market mapping and gather information on the competitive landscape
- Explore the use of product to new accounts or markets
- Make routine calls to customers and develop strong working relationships.
- Technical consultant: ensure prospective customers have access to relevant technical information to make an informed purchase
- Serve as customer contact for technical issues.
Preferred Requirements
- Degree in Microbiology preferred
- Minimum 3 years of sales, product or application experience in Microbiology industry.
- Exposure to a wide range of clinical and research applications is highly sought after.
- Prior sales experience or customer facing role and/or good technical knowledge in Microbiology is an added advantage.
- Strong business acumen and result driven.
- Customer focused and able to work independently.
- Effective communication skills to clearly articulate technical and product information to both internal and external customers.
