Job Responsibilities
- Manage accounts within the portfolio by tailoring promotional strategies to achieve sales targets, executing channel and brand plans, and maximizing return on promotional investments in line with company objectives.
- Supervise the development and effective implementation of tactical plans to meet sales and merchandising objectives.
- Formulate account-specific promotional strategies for each customer to achieve sales targets, incorporating sales and brand plans.
- Execute, monitor, and evaluate promotional plans; conduct business reviews with key retailers at least quarterly.
- Ensure product distribution, shelf presentation, and merchandising meet set targets and are consistently maintained.
- Optimize ROI by investing within allocated promotional funds effectively.
- Drive distribution objectives for both existing and new products.
- Monitor and control budgeted expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness and optimal use of assets.
- Participate in drafting and lead the initial round of annual trading terms negotiations with key retailers.
- Provide sales forecast inputs to the sales planning department for shipment and production planning.
- Train and coach the sales team to ensure high motivation and maximum potential, leading by example.
- Communicate sales objectives to the sales team and regularly review and appraise their performance.
- Develop and implement innovative tactical plans in collaboration with sales planning to ensure ongoing category development and anticipate future business trends and opportunities.
