Job description

The Key Account Executive for Vivo is responsible for managing and growing relationships with key clients, including retailers, distributors, and B2B partners. This role ensures that Vivo’s products are well-represented, in-stock, and performing across all assigned accounts. The executive will develop tailored sales strategies, pursue new business opportunities, and drive revenue growth while providing regular performance updates to management.

Key Account Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients (retailers, distributors, and B2B partners).

  • Ensure that the company’s products are well-represented and well-stocked in these accounts.

  • Monitor and manage the performance of accounts to ensure sales targets are met.

Sales and Revenue Growth:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within key accounts.

  • Drive sales growth by developing and executing strategies tailored to specific accounts.

  • Track sales performance and provide regular updates to management.

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Assist in developing sales strategies for key accounts based on market trends and customer needs.

  • Coordinate promotional campaigns and initiatives with the marketing team to boost visibility and sales.

  • Implement and monitor the execution of sales plans to ensure that the accounts are achieving optimal results.

Customer Support and Service:

  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure that key accounts are satisfied with Vivo's products and services.

  • Address any issues or complaints from key accounts promptly, and work on solutions to prevent future problems.

Market Analysis:

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify potential opportunities for Vivo.

  • Provide insights into customer preferences and feedback to the product development and marketing teams.

Reporting and Forecasting:

  • Regularly report on key account performance, sales figures, and market trends.

  • Provide forecasts and help in setting achievable sales targets for each key account.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, logistics, and product development to ensure the needs of key accounts are met.

  • Coordinate with other sales team members to share best practices and insights.

Other Tasks

  • Delegate specific tasks as needed to ensure the achievement of team and business goals.

Language & Cultural Adaptability

  • Communicate in Mandarin with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.

  • Adapt to Chinese corporate culture (communication, workflow, organizational structure).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.

  • A diploma in a relevant field may be considered with strong experience in account management or sales.

  • Additional certifications in sales, negotiation, or customer relationship management are a plus.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
