A leading company in the FMCG sector is seeking a Key Account Executive to enhance and manage strategic retail accounts. The successful candidate will work closely with Retail Managers, ensuring quality services and achieving designated sales targets while demonstrating strong communication and analytical skills. This role involves developing client relationships, conducting sales analysis, and coordinating internal functions to drive growth in the retail sector.
The Key Account Executive, Retail – FMCG, is part of our Sales team. He/she is expected to work closely with the Retail Category Managers or Merchandise Managers to develop and grow responsible accounts in the respective retail chain. He/She is expected to have strong Sales or Business Development experience in the Grocery segment with the major retail chains in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
Assist to maintain and develop business with target clients.
Assist to implement the SOP/IOP with internal operation to ensure the operation / billing / reporting / KPI / OMS/ incident cases are done / settle timely under high quality.
Ensure the requirements from clients are implemented properly.
Responsible for assigned Categories sales and profit delivery
Responsible for given A&P budget to meet top and bottom line KPIs
Responsible for planning and implementation of promotions to drive Channel sales
Negotiation of promotion activities & listing of new products
Co-ordinate with other internal departments on retailer/client activity (sales, supply chain, customer service, merchandising)
To interact and coordinate with internal sales team for merchandising and operational duties
Faster response to market needs by monitor and track competitors’ activities
To be the initial customer escalation contact to deal with inquiries or service complain.
Monthly sales reporting, including post campaign analysis and recommendations
Required to conduct store visits occasionally
Requirements:
Good Excel & Power Point skills (for internal reporting, external documents filling) & good communication skills (for external customer facing & internal sales rep/merchandisers facing)
Positive attitude, self-driven & willingness to learn
Experience in FMCG Preferred
Able to handle pressure on deadlines & attention to details
Will to work in the West area
