Job summary

Keppel (Infrastructure Division) invites an intern to support OT cybersecurity operations and projects in Singapore. You will review SOPs, monitor security alerts, and contribute to automation initiatives, including AI.

This role aims to develop practical skills in threat monitoring, vulnerability management, and policy governance within a real-world cybersecurity environment. Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in cybersecurity/IT/CS, with foundational OT knowledge, interest in AI/ML

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in cybersecurity, IT, CS, or related field.
• Foundational OT cybersecurity knowledge and practices.
• Basic exposure to AI/ML and its cybersecurity applications.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of OT or IC systems is a plus.

The intern will be responsible in the following: Support OT Cybersecurity BAU operations and project activities such as security systems implementation and AI. Review, maintain, and enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and security policies. Monitor and analyze security alerts to detect potential threats. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within security operations. Identify and implement opportunities for process automation (including but not limited to AI) to improve efficiency. Assist in vulnerability scanning activities to identify, assess, and mitigate security risks. Learning Outcomes: Intern will gain practical experience in OT cybersecurity operations, including threat monitoring, vulnerability management, and policy governance. Develop skills in process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement within a real-world cybersecurity environment.

Job Requirements

• 1. Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 2. Foundational understanding of OT cybersecurity principles, practices, and tools.
• 3. Basic exposure to or interest in Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning and their applications in cybersecurity.
• 4. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• 5. Willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
• 6. Knowledge in Operational Technology or IC systems will be an added advantage.
