Job summary

Your responsibilities
  • As a member of our base metals team, you support our sales and trading activities, including pricing, deal execution, and documentation
  • You actively monitor market movements and contribute to the development of basic pricing strategies using both physical and derivative tools (e.g. LME futures)
  • Working closely with senior traders, you take responsibility for P&L monitoring and support in structuring deals
  • You ensure smooth trade execution by coordinating with back office and logistics teams and supporting contract review and preparation in line with internal processes
  • You build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders through daily communication and support
  • You apply and further develop your knowledge of risk management concepts, including hedging strategies and exposure tracking in the base metals market
  • You assist in researching new market opportunities, analyzing customer needs and competitor activities, and are open to occasional business travel to engage with clients to support our regional activities
Your profile
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
  • You bring up to 23 years of relevant experience in trading, commercial, or operations roles within commodities or logistics (internships included)
  • You have a strong interest in base metals and commodity derivatives (LME knowledge is a plus)
  • You demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
  • You are eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, international trading environment
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools to support your daily work
  • You communicate fluently in English, additional language skills are a plus
