Job description

We are looking for a Junior Technician to join our production team who is driven and meticulous. This entry-level role supports product assembly, inspection, and repair activities while providing a hands-on environment for the development of technical skills. Candidates who are eager to learn and advance within the organization will receive training.

Job Descriptions:

  • Perform basic soldering on components and PCB board
  • Handle manual drilling machine and PCB board preparation
  • Perform production and assembly of products as specified in work order requirements to meet customer requirements and quality specifications.
  • Perform work-in-progress inspections during production and assembly activities.
  • Implement proper identification and protection of products during production.
  • Follow proper production environment control, including ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions.
  • Support and Assist application engineer with repair work.
  • Report any product non-conformances to Supervisor or Manager, and follow approved disposition actions.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.

Job Requirments:

  • A minimum of a Nitec or diploma in engineering, electronics, mechanical, or a related field
  • Entry-level applicants with no prior experience are welcome; comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Prior experience in assembly or production settings is an advantage.
  • A Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PDF, and general computer operating systems
  • Willingness to learn to participate in practical tasks
  • Ability to follow safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
