Kerry Consulting is assisting a large Asian conglomerate in Singapore to recruit a Junior Trader for the sugar trading desk. You will support market research, pricing, trade execution and logistics, under guidance from the Senior Trader.

The role involves coordinating contracts, payments, and monitoring daily MTM P&L, while developing new destination markets and customer accounts across Asia, including China.

Qualifications

• Degree in business or related field with 1–3 years of experience in commodities trading.
• Understanding of international trade, contract execution, and trade logistics.
• Proactive, self-motivated with strong ownership of daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Support sugar trading desk with market research, pricing and trade execution.
• Coordinate physical purchase and sales contracts; manage payment schedules.
• Monitor and reconcile MTM P&L and contract status for trading division.
