Job description

We are looking for recent graduates and experienced engineers with 0 to 8 years of experience in technical support or technical sales delivery to be our Solution Engineer!

If you are a recent graduate who is keen to explore a technical support role at pre or post sales or both, this is your chance to kickstart a career in technical sales and customer support!

As a Solution Engineer, you will listen, read, and analyse customers' queries to provide them with solutions. Yes, this will be you.

The Role

You will handle all activities for our Cybersecurity/Technical products such as SASE, WAF, endpoint security, and DNS Security, locally and regionally. You will listen and read customers' queries and find solutions to their questions, applying your technical knowledge, theory, and/or practical skills to:

  • satisfy unsatisfied customers,
  • provide technical solution initiatives, PoC, and implementation services including proposal, design, testing, deployment & documentation,
  • support customers with all computer hardware and software and its delivery matters and other related technical questions via emails and calls,
  • support 24×7 maintenance support calls as problems can occur everywhere and anytime,
  • note, resolve, and/or escalate the less straightforward cases or potential complaints to supervisor as necessary, and
  • analyse and provide feedback on current activities and issues and give suggestions for improvement during departmental meetings.

What we look for

  • 0 to 5 years of experience supporting cybersecurity or network security related solutions (i.e., Web Proxy, WAFS, or Next Generation Firewall).
  • NITEC/ITE/Diploma and above in Computer Science, Infocomm, Technology, and related disciplines.
  • Knowledge & experience with Cloud Based Solutions.

Additional

  • Applicants who can perform endpoint & network troubleshooting to identify or isolate the cause of the issue have an advantage.
  • Applicants with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience will be considered as a senior solutions engineer.
