Job Description:
- Designing and implementing new network solutions and current network improvement/expanding
- Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, load balancers, switches
- Analysing problems, performing troubleshooting, and tracking problems through resolution
- Responsible for monitoring activities, such as device status and bandwidth usage
- Scheduling and running periodic maintenance for network infrastructure at the data centre
- Planning and managing change requests and/or maintenance activities for network operations including firmware patches
- Ensuring zero service level breaches and achieving 100% compliance with policy and procedure
- Performing Change Requests, Service Requests as assigned by team lead according to the SLA
- Managing Call tickets assigned by service desk according to the SLA
- Managing network devices and performing firmware patching
- Managing subcontractors involved with network installation
- Providing network reports and status for monthly SLA reports and other operations requirements
Requirements:
- Experience working as a network engineer within the operations environment
- Past working experience in CISCO ACI is an advantage
- Past working experience in Cloud environment is an advantage
- ITIL certification will be an added advantage
- Good grasp of technical skills (network)
- Possessing CCNA or CCNP certification
- Good understanding and appreciation of network and system design
- Able to handle demanding service response and recovery turnaround
- Able to manage daily support tasks to meet stringent SLA requirements
