Job summary

ScienTec Consulting Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy and manage secure cloud environments across AWS, Azure and GCP.

You will build reusable automation with Terraform and CI/CD, and ensure IAM, encryption and network protections meet requirements. Responsibilities include monitoring, incident response, disaster recovery and collaboration with development teams on containerisation and orchestration.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools, such as Terraform.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, container registries and microservices environments.
• Good understanding of cloud networking, including VPCs, subnets, load balancers, DNS and firewall configurations.
• Knowledge of IAM, encryption, security frameworks and compliance requirements, preferably within government environments.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash or PowerShell, with familiarity with Git and API integrations.
• Experience with cloud-native monitoring tools or platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana and the ELK stack.
• Experience administering Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure: Design, deploy and maintain secure, scalable and cost-effective infrastructure across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
• Infrastructure Automation: Develop reusable infrastructure modules using Terraform, CloudFormation or ARM templates to ensure consistent provisioning across development, staging and production environments.
• Security and Compliance: Implement IAM, encryption and network security controls, conduct security assessments, and support compliance with government cybersecurity requirements.
• Monitoring and Reliability: Configure monitoring, logging, dashboards and alerts to track system health, troubleshoot issues and support incident response.
• DevOps and Deployment: Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, Kubernetes orchestration and automated testing. Support blue-green deployments and canary releases.
• Disaster Recovery: Develop and test backup and recovery procedures, maintain recovery documentation, and support business continuity readiness.
• Systems Administration: Administer Linux and Windows environments, directory services, firewalls and endpoint protection solutions.
