Job summary

TECHLEAD TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. is seeking an Assistant Engineer to support engineers and project managers in coordinating engineering activities and site tasks in Singapore.

You will assist with installations, testing, inspection, commissioning, and documentation, while coordinating with clients, contractors and suppliers. The role requires a diploma or degree in a related engineering field, basic drawing comprehension, and familiarity with AutoCAD or similar tools.

Qualifications

• Must hold a diploma or degree in a relevant engineering field and be able to read technical drawings.
• Basic engineering knowledge and ability to understand drawings is an advantage.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar engineering software is beneficial.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
• Willingness to learn and undertake on-the-job training.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineers and Project Managers in coordinating and executing engineering and project activities.
• Support site installation, testing, inspection, commissioning and related engineering works.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documents, drawings, reports and project records.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, suppliers and clients on technical and site matters.
• Monitor progress and ensure works follow approved drawings and specifications.
• Assist with troubleshooting and basic technical problem solving.
• Coordinate materials, equipment and resources for project activities.
• Ensure works comply with company procedures, safety requirements and client needs.
• Attend site meetings and project coordination discussions as required.
• Provide general engineering and project support as assigned by the Engineer or Project Manager.
