Job summary

DLM PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer to support the management and execution of electrical projects.

You will assist in installation, testing, commissioning, planning, site surveillance, and documentation while coordinating with subcontractors and internal teams. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and timely delivery on site. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of electrical engineering exposure, a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in electrical engineering or site-based electrical works.
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, cabling, and ELV systems.
• Familiarity with local electrical codes, authority requirements, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in project engineering activities including electrical installation works, testing, and commissioning under supervision.
• Support preliminary design reviews and assist in preparing basic cost estimates for Design and Build tenders.
• Assist the Project Engineer and Project Manager in tracking project schedules, monitoring task progress, and coordinating daily work activities.
• Support coordination with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth site operations.
• Assist in conducting site inspections and record progress using digital forms, photos, and checklists.
• Update site progress data in the project management system and report issues promptly.
• Coordinate with drafters, procurement, and internal teams to support site requirements.
• Assist in preparing basic progress reports and dashboards for internal review.
• Maintain accurate project documentation including daily site reports, inspection records, drawings, and checklists.
