Job summary
The LANTAU Group (Singapore) PTE. LTD. is seeking an early-career energy analyst with 1–4 years of relevant experience in the Indian power sector.
You will research and quantitatively analyse power systems, markets and energy policy, with hands-on modelling using Python, R, or MATLAB. You will collect and analyse market data, develop models for electricity-market and power-system analysis, and present findings in client reports and presentations.
Qualifications
- Degree in quantitative discipline; Master's desirable but not mandatory.
- 1–4 years of relevant experience in the Indian power sector.
- Hands-on experience in modelling, forecasting or optimisation.
Responsibilities
- Research and interpret developments in the Indian power sector, including market regulations and policies.
- Collect, organise and analyse electricity-market data to develop insights.
- Develop and apply quantitative models for electricity-market and power-system analysis.
- Forecasting, dispatch, unit commitment, resource adequacy and scenario analysis.
- Communicate results clearly in client reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with project teams across TLG's regional offices.
