About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Photonic Chip Processing Engineer to support the development and fabrication of photonic integrated circuits. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience in semiconductor processing and work on cutting-edge photonic technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in process development and fabrication of photonic integrated circuits.
  • Operate cleanroom equipment for lithography, etching, deposition, and metrology.
  • Perform process characterization and data analysis to improve fabrication yield.
  • Work with senior engineers to troubleshoot fabrication issues and optimize process flows.
  • Document process parameters and contribute to process development reports.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on photonic chip design and packaging.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience in semiconductor processing or photonic device fabrication.
  • Basic knowledge of photonic devices and semiconductor materials.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
