Job description

Our client is an international freight and shipping company. They are currently looking for a Junior Operations Controller to join their expanding team.

Responsibilities:

1. Handles end-to-end all the operations sea bookings, including document handling and creation.
2. Agent and partner communication and tracking throughout the process.
3. Internal communications between offices/ clients on shipments.
4. CargoWise file creations and management.
5. Ensure systems are kept up to date throughout the process. (CargoWise)
6. Ensure processes are being adhered to throughout shipping process.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 1-3 years experience in Logistics
2. General knowledge of Imports / Exports / General Logistics / Warehousing / Customs / Rate Understanding
3. Sea freight knowledge (Importing and Exporting / Cross Trades)
4. SE Asia Knowledge
