JOB OVERVIEW

Responsible for providing medical care for premature and critically ill newborn infants in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing prenatal care for high-risk infants.
• Diagnosing, stabilizing, making treatment plans, and monitoring sick neonates in NICU.
• Assisting in premature or problematic deliveries, and helping if complications arise or immediate medical attention is necessary after birth.
• Assisting with medications and treating infants born with infections contracted during or after birth.
• Participating in daily patient rounds; documenting patient status, daily progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Practicing safety, environmental, and infection control methods.

Qualifications

• MBBS, MD/DNB Paediatrics / DCH / DNB Neonatology / DNB Neonatology / Fellowship
• Experience: 1 to 3 years
