What We Need:
We’re looking for a skilled Junior MIS Engineer with a strong background in critical thinking and IT infrastructure management to join our growing company on a 6-month contract. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our corporate IT infrastructure, network systems, and business application assets. You will also play a key role in addressing daily user support needs and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Your proactive mindset and technical expertise will be crucial in helping us adopt scalable solutions and swiftly resolve IT-related issues as they arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond and resolve to user-reported issues and service requests via the Jira ticketing system. Take full ownership of assigned tickets, delivering timely follow-up, effective troubleshooting, and clear, user-friendly communication throughout the resolution process.

  • Configure, install, operate, test, and maintain corporate-wide hardware, software, systems, and network devices—including firewalls, NAS, VPN, and ISP-related applications

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of IT assets, inventory, and license renewals. Contribute to the enhancement of IT processes and workflows, including documentation of procedures and best practices for knowledge sharing and operational efficiency.

  • Monitor and optimize system and infrastructure performance to ensure maximum uptime, reliability, and security.

  • Support and execute special IT-related projects and initiatives as assigned. Remain responsive to ad-hoc and emergency technical issues, including the flexibility to return on-site after working hours when required to maintain business continuity.

Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit:

  • A diploma or degree in Software/ Computer Science /Computing / Engineering/ IT discipline or equivalent.

  • You have worked at least 1-2 years in a MIS or IT support role.

  • Proficiency in Jira, Confluence and Google workspace is a plus advantage.

  • You are an avid gamer and passionate about learning more about the industry

  • Driven and self-motivated, proactive and work well within a team

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
