Job summary

TEMP-TEAM PTE LTD is seeking a motivated Assistant Mechanical Engineer to support our Design and Engineering team in developing mechanical components and technical solutions.

The ideal candidate should have a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, be proficient in AutoCAD 2D, and be familiar with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or Inventor. This role requires collaboration with senior designers and engineers and involves BOM updates and documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D drafting is essential).
• Familiarity with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor) is an advantage.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn and develop technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies.
• Prepare and modify technical drawings, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD and/or 3D CAD software.
• Support BOM preparation and updates.
• Review technical specifications for materials, parts, and components.
• Maintain and organize engineering drawings, documentation, and records.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and project teams.
• Participate in project discussions and technical meetings as required.
