Job summary

Bunge Asia Pte. Ltd. seeks a logistics co‑ordinator to support the Logistics Manager across Southeast Asia, focusing initially on ocean going vessels and coordinating with the commercial team to maximize trading book value.

You will collaborate with destination offices, shippers, and brokers to plan shipments, monitor at ports, and update planning changes, ensuring cost approvals and compliant execution.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years' experience in logistics management in the commodity industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment and across multiple geographies.
• Excellent problem solving and technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with commercial team, destination office, Global Logistics/origin/shippers and freight on all shipment planning and issues.
• Monitor shipments at loading or discharge ports to ensure smooth execution and meet requirements; notify risks to resolve.
• Create and update all shipments planning/changes.
• Coordinate with freight operation/destinations office/broker for logistics or ad hoc issues.
• Liaise with port agent and freight to ensure vessel specs conform with load/discharge requirements.
• Approve costs related to logistics: freight payment, inframar taxes, artificial sep, double berth costs, etc.
• Coordinate with execution teams and destination office on shipment execution and laytime issues.
• Coordinate with freight operation on pre-stowage plan and changes in execution plan or arrival dates.
• Undertake ad hoc projects to improve logistics flow and efficiency.
