Junior Key Account Manager, SEA

Job Purpose

To manage, develop, and strengthen relationships with key clients across Southeast Asia, ensure client satisfaction, drive sales growth, improve points of visual marketing and marketing, and support the achievement of regional business objectives.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Qualifications: Sales background. Running accounts and key accounts in sales, handling sheets, simple reporting, managing independently different tasks,
  • 3-5 years of experience in key account management, sales, or business development, preferably in FMCG and/or retail, within the same or similar industries.
  • Proactive, resourceful, supportive, understands sales environment, relationship building and is reliable person.
  • Independently solving problems and minor issues if/when they arise
  • Very good communication & presentation skills
  • Great networking skills and extroverted-when-needed character
  • Experience working in or with Southeast Asian markets is highly desirable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts in the SEA region.
  • Maintain and develop long-term, trust-based relationships with existing clients.
  • Address and resolve client concerns promptly to ensure high satisfaction and retention

Strategic Planning and Execution

  • Plan, execute, and direct domestic Key Account retailers and distributors, including development of account strategies, implementation of strategies, and coordination of resources necessary to execute strategy and improve account performance.
  • Plan activities and then collaborate with the partners and /or own marketing teams on new campaigns and strategies to increase market exposure and revenue.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and threats.

Business development:

  • Open new accounts by researching and directly contacting potential partners (very good pitching and demonstration skills needed)
  • Responsible for identifying new business opportunities (partners, sales channels), setting up meetings and negotiate conditions
  • Fully owning responsibility for collaboration with the marketing team, implement sales & trade marketing plan and ensure all the sales activities, such as merchandising, promotion, services are correctly implemented across distribution

Collaboration and Coordination

  • Work closely with internal teams (marketing, logistics, customer service) to ensure seamless client service and operational excellence
  • Collaborate partner’s teams to design and execute simple promotional activities and campaigns.
  • Coordinate execution of different tasks needed for running the operations such as registering the products with partners or helping to register products on market (through agencies and internal Regulatory team)
  • Being proactive by helping Senior Sales Manager to deliver strategy, keep the communication with partners and support the overall strategy and sales
