Job description

Location:

Changi Airport

Working Hours:

12-hour shift (Day/Night rotation)

Salary:

$2,300 + Shift Allowances

Responsibilities:

1. Provide first-level IT support for airport systems and infrastructure on a 24/7 rotational shift.
2. Monitor and maintain servers, network devices, and system performance using monitoring tools.
3. Respond promptly to system alerts and incidents to ensure minimal downtime and service continuity.
4. Perform routine health checks, system reboots, and preventive maintenance tasks.
5. Troubleshoot and escalate hardware, software, and network issues to relevant support teams or vendors.
6. Assist in the implementation and testing of new systems or updates as directed by senior engineers.
7. Maintain accurate records of incidents, issues, and resolutions using ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
8. Support airport operational technologies including check-in kiosks, flight information displays, and baggage handling systems.
9. Ensure proper handover between shifts with updated status of ongoing issues and tasks.
10. Comply with airport security and safety protocols at all times.

Requirements:

• Minimum Nitec in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• No prior experience required.
• Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Attentive, reliable, and able to work independently in a critical environment.
• Good communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Physically able to handle and move IT equipment when needed.
• Able to start immediately or within short notice.
