Job description

The Opportunity

• Create detailed 3D and technical files ready for manufacturers.
• Create 2D visual rendering and presentations to effectively communicate product function.
• Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually
• Work closely with Technical Team and Marketing Team to ensure design specifications are implemented.
• Participate and brainstorm with the team to develop creative solutions and ideas.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Design or Product Design
• Min 2 - 3 years of experience
• Proficient in 3D CAD software (Rhino and Keyshot, Solidworks, Inventor and others are also viable)
• Proficient in Adobe software (Photoshop and Illustrator)
• Comfortable with learning and searching for solutions when given unfamiliar tasks
• Know how to conduct in-depth research and analysis
• Knowledge of basic manufacturing techniques and materials
• Have a sound understanding of hardware and manufacturing
• Skilled in sketching, prototyping and 3D modelling
• Experience in robotics is a plus but not necessary
• Must be comfortable with pushing the boundaries and innovating
• Self-motivated, able to work individually as well as a great team player
• Able to adapt to the fast-paced environment and handle tight timelines at work
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with people at all levels, internally and externally, and in a professional and responsible manner
