We have partnered with one of the leading retail groups in Singapore with a strong presence across multiple store formats islandwide. With a portfolio of well-established brands, the business continues to grow and adapt, serving diverse customer segments though its network of over 50 outlets.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be playing an active role in business partnering, adding value to the business and operations achieving the organizational goals. The candidate will also take on the role of a trusted HR advisor in engaging and communicating HR agenda to a large workforce.

This role is based in Tampines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted HR advisor, partnering with business stakeholders to identify talent-related challenges and translate them into actionable HR initiatives.
  • Leverage data, analytics, talent assessments, and external benchmarks to provide critical insights into current and emerging capability gaps.
  • Influence and coach business leaders to align with HR and talent strategies that support long-term organizational goals.
  • Build credibility and trust with stakeholders and team members to advance talent management and employee engagement agendas.
  • Support post-engagement survey efforts, facilitating discussions and collaborating with stakeholders on action planning to improve team engagement.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while minimizing potential risks.
  • Act as a liaison between HR Centre of Excellence and business units to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of HR services.
  • Foster strong relationships within the HR community to align efforts, eliminate redundancies, and support the seamless execution of talent strategies.
  • Champion a continuous improvement mindset, gathering feedback to monitor stakeholder satisfaction and drive service excellence.
  • Serve as a culture ambassador, partnering with operations and store support centre functions to build and sustain an engaging, high-performance workplace culture.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the HR Practices and Employment Act, particularly in relation to daily employee management.
  • Preferably from industry with large workforce and comfortable to engage team members from various level.
  • Possess good people skills and positive attitude
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
