Job description

About the Role:
The ideal candidate will assist in accounts payable processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting while supporting the wider finance team. This role provides excellent exposure to finance operations and an opportunity to grow within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly Accounts Payable (AP) payments and reconcile Statements of Account (SOA).

  • Act as the first approver/reviewer of invoices submitted via the e-Procurement system (TenderBoard).

  • Serve as the second reviewer for TenderBoard reports, ensuring accuracy of accounting codes.

  • Monitor balance sheet items and follow up with relevant stakeholders on outstanding items.

  • Ensure timely, accurate, and complete preparation of daily carrier remittances for both 1st and 2nd batches (backup support).

  • Post AP transactions and journal entries accurately.

  • Support other team members through a buddy system to ensure smooth workflow.

  • Assist in internal and external audits.

  • Perform ad-hoc assignments as requested by the Manager or Head of Department.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
