Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a maintenance technician to plan and coordinate preventive maintenance, calibrate IMTE, and oversee routine upkeep of building facilities and utilities.

You will perform hands-on maintenance and diagnose basic electrical and instrumentation issues, supporting installation and upgrade projects. The role requires coordinating with contractors, preparing technical documents, and assisting with spare parts sourcing, EHS activities, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance, including inspection, measurement and test equipment (IMTE) calibration.
• Coordinate routine and ad-hoc maintenance for building facilities and utility systems.
• Perform hands-on maintenance and basic electrical and instrumentation troubleshooting.
• Assist with fault diagnosis and troubleshooting of PLC-controlled systems, SCADA and HMI.
• Support new equipment installation, upgrading and feasibility studies.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors during maintenance and repair works.
• Prepare technical documents, work instructions, training materials and submissions to relevant authorities.
• Assist with spare parts inventory, quotation sourcing, price negotiation and purchasing.
• Support the Technical Department in EHS activities, risk assessments and regulatory compliance.
