Job description

Kickstart Your Creative Career With Us!

Just finished film school or a media course and looking to break into the world of post-production? We’re looking for driven, detail-obsessed, creatively curious fresh grads to join our growing post team. Whether you’re passionate about editing, audio, or colour grading — if you’ve got the spark, we want to meet you.

At editlounge, we work across network shows for the major network and streaming platforms, branded content and more. You’ll learn the ropes, gain hands-on experience, and grow alongside experienced mentors who remember exactly what it was like starting out.

What You’ll Be Doing

Depending on your interests and strengths, you’ll be:

  • Assisting editors in assembling footage and prepping timelines
  • Syncing rushes, organising media, and doing basic edits
  • Learning audio cleanup, basic mixing, and voiceover edits
  • Exploring colour correction and prepping grading timelines
  • Supporting the team on real-world projects while building your own reel
  • Getting a front-row seat to the full post-production pipeline
What We’re Looking For
  • A recent diploma or degree in film, media, or a related field
  • Basic experience with Adobe Premiere Pro (other tools like After Effects, Resolve, or Pro Tools a bonus)
  • A good eye (and ear!) for storytelling, rhythm, and detail
  • A can-do attitude, willingness to learn, and a love for all things post
  • Strong organisational skills — we love a tidy timeline
  • Bonus points for any hands-on experience, freelance gigs, or student projects
What You’ll Get
  • Real-world experience across multiple post disciplines
  • Mentorship from experienced editors, audio engineers, and colourists
  • A chance to build your showreel while contributing to actual client work
  • Exposure to the latest tools, workflows, and broadcast standards
  • A fun, collaborative space where no question is too small and creativity is always encouraged
  • Coffee. Lots of coffee.
