A leading IT solutions provider in Singapore is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to deliver first-level support and troubleshoot IT issues for users. Ideal candidates will have 2 years of experience in desktop support and strong problem-solving skills. Responsibilities include managing user accounts and maintaining IT asset inventory. Job Description
Provide first-level (L1) technical support to end users via email, remote, and onsite assistance.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues on desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and IT equipment.
Manage user accounts, password resets, and access rights (e.g., Active Directory, Microsoft 365).
Perform patch management and routine updates for Windows and third-party software.
Support IT onboarding and offboarding activities in line with compliance standards.
Maintain and update IT asset inventory, ensuring timely replacements when required.
Escalate unresolved or complex issues to senior IT staff or vendors.
Maintain accurate documentation of tickets and resolutions while delivering excellent user support.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk is often required.
Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and fundamental networking concepts.
Communication: Good communication skills to interact effectively with users.
Problem-Solving: Strong ability to troubleshoot and find solutions to IT challenges.
Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
1–2 years of IT or desktop support experience.
Good understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft Office / 365, and basic networking.
Familiarity with IT systems and hardware troubleshooting is a plus.
Strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and a customer-focused mindset.
Some maintenance and upgrade activities will be performed after office hours to ensure minimal impact on business operations
Able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Salary increments after successful confirmation based on individual\'s performance.

Performance bonus.
Monthly Commission: On top of basic salary, commission is applicable only to staff who achieve their targets. The commission rate is based on a tiered structure.
