Job description

Working Hours: 12 Hours (Rotating Shift)

Working Location: Island wide (Healthcare Environment) - Able to travel to other locations when needed.

Length of contract: 12 Months (Renewable)

Basic salary up to $2,600 (Subject to experience) + Shift Allowances

Responsibilities:

• Carry out periodic checks of data center hardware and facility systems according to organizational guidelines.

• Escalate any issue to relevant parties according to organizational guidelines.

• Obtain the existing DC Operation documentation including details on DC facilities, network and server monitoring, storage and backup monitoring, batch operations and batch job scheduling.

• Attend the knowledge transfer to be conducted by the outgoing service provider/s.

• Conduct shadowing and reverse shadowing of the daily DC operation tasks.

• Ensure all the DC Operations documentation is updated

• Require walking from Primary Server Room to Secondary Server Room for escorting vendors.

• The DC Operator requires to stay in the DC for monitoring alerts and do timely escalation to the support staff, apart from going to the secondary server room.

Requirements:

• Min Nitec in IT, Computer Science or related technical field

• Min 1 year of experience in data center operations, facilities monitoring and management

• Working knowledge of monitoring systems, ticketing systems and incident management.

• Able to commit for 12 hours shift

• Comfortable working in healthcare sector

• Able to travel to other locations when needed.

• This role required the incumbent to take MMR and TDAP vaccines (Claimable)
