Job summary

Zenith Infotech is seeking a Junior Cost Manager in Singapore to support day-to-day cost management activities, including cost planning, estimating, change management, invoices, and reporting. You will work with senior cost managers, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure cost visibility and accurate project records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Cost Management, Engineering, or Data Analytics with a construction or cost focus.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant cost management experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of cost estimates and cost plans using project information and benchmarking data.
• Support value engineering and lifecycle costing to identify cost efficiencies.
• Prepare and maintain cost control reports, forecasts, and financial reporting for review by senior team members.
• Maintain change order logs, invoice logs, commitments, and detailed project cost reports.
• Perform initial reviews of change orders, invoices, and supporting documentation for completeness and alignment with project records.
• Identify potential cost risks and support maintenance of the project risk register.
• Attend client, project, and design team meetings and document key decisions, actions, and cost implications.
• Assist with assessment of cost impact of design developments and changes.
• Perform measurement, pricing research, benchmarking, and supporting commercial analysis.
• Assist with contract administration and project close-out activities.
• Maintain project templates, trackers, databases, and reporting tools.
• Escalate material cost, change, or commercial issues to senior cost management team members.
