Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes in accordance with recipes and presentation standards.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
  • Plan and develop menus in collaboration with management, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Maintain strict hygiene, health, and safety standards in the kitchen.
  • Ensure all food is prepared and served within food safety guidelines and local health regulations.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and reduce food waste through proper storage and preparation techniques.
  • Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, promoting continuous learning and growth.
  • Handle customer feedback with professionalism and ensure continuous improvement of food quality and service.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef or similar role in a commercial kitchen.
  • Candidates with 2 years of proven experience as a Head Chef, Executive Chef, or Command Chef in a high-volume kitchen will be considered for the Command Chef position.
  • Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Excellent leadership, time management, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with sanitation regulations and food safety standards (e.g., HACCP).
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creativity and a passion for food.
