Job summary

CSA Group is seeking an entry-level Certifier assistant to join its team. Under direct supervision, you will complete certification projects and assist with testing to maintain CSA Global Certification program integrity.

You will report to a Product Group Manager or Team Leader, collaborate with internal and external clients, and help prepare certification reports and compliance documents. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 0–2 years’ experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 0 - 2 years of job related experience.
• Certified Engineering Technologist, Journeyman Electrician or equivalent industry experience.
• Knowledge of Laboratory instrumentation, including operating principles and calibration procedures.

Responsibilities

• Handles a narrow spectrum of projects generating moderate revenue levels.
• Demonstrates understanding of the certification process, accreditation requirements and quality management procedures.
• Performs evaluation planning, test planning and required testing under supervision.
• Prepares Findings Communications, Certification reports and Certificates of Compliance under mentorship.
• Seeks to understand and plan for own development needs in line with competency matrix.
