Orion Group Life Sciences is recruiting a Biotechnologist on behalf of a multinational biopharmaceutical client in Tuas, Singapore, for an initial 12-month contract with potential extension.

The role suits fresh graduates and those with 0–1 years of experience, offering exposure to biopharmaceutical manufacturing, quality testing, and batch documentation in a cGMP environment. Rotational shifts may apply.

Formación

• NITEC or Diploma in Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates with 0–1 years' experience are welcome to apply.
• Biotech/pharma manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
• Knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirements is preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP, LIMS or MES is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are expected.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts is required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform manufacturing operations in compliance with cGMP and safety requirements.
• Carry out equipment cleaning, setup and manufacturing activities across production areas: Upstream, Downstream, Central Services.
• Complete daily manufacturing tasks as assigned by the Lead Biotechnologist or Supervisor.
• Maintain accurate batch documentation and production records.
• Review documentation for completeness and accuracy; resolve errors.
• Support inventory management and plant upkeep during shifts.
• Report processing abnormalities and equipment issues to supervisors.
• Assist in preparation for regulatory audits and inspections.
• Follow production schedules and EHS procedures.
