Job description

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of doughs and batters by measuring and mixing ingredients
• Help bake bread, pastries, cakes, cookies, and other bakery products
• Monitor baking procedures and times, and apply glazes, icings, or other toppings using spatulas or brushes
• Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers and proof boxes
• Assist in developing new recipes under the supervision of a Senior Baker or Pastry Chef
• Maintain cleanliness and adherence to health and safety regulations in the kitchen
• Rotate products in storage to maintain freshness
• Help in packaging baked products for sale

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a bakery or relevant role is advantageous.
