Junior B2B Event Sales Specialist

Job description

This is a sales-focused role. We are looking for someone comfortable picking up the phone, approaching new companies, following up with potential clients, and actively looking for opportunities.

You will work closely with the company owner and operations team to turn leads into confirmed events.

What You'll Be Doing

Sales & Business Development

• Make outbound cold calls to companies and potential corporate clients
• Identify and approach HR, Admin, Marketing, Office Management and other relevant decision-makers
• Generate new leads through phone calls, email, WhatsApp and online research
• Follow up consistently with potential and existing clients
• Introduce Vantastic Event's services and event packages
• Understand clients' requirements and identify suitable event solutions
• Arrange meetings or calls with potential clients
• Prepare and follow up on quotations and proposals
• Maintain relationships with existing clients and look for repeat business
• Reactivate previous clients and past enquiries
• Identify opportunities for corporate events such as:
  • Team building
  • Corporate family days
  • Company celebrations
  • Annual dinners/dinner & dance
  • Carnivals and roadshows
  • Staff activities
  • Corporate entertainment
  • Event decorations and activities

CRM & Sales Administration

• Maintain accurate customer and prospect information in our CRM
• Record calls, conversations, quotations and follow-up dates
• Ensure no potential lead is forgotten or left without follow-up
• Track sales opportunities from initial contact through to confirmation
• Provide regular updates on sales activities and pipeline
