Harneys in Singapore is seeking a Junior Associate/Paralegal (Transactional Department) for a 12-month contract. The role involves supporting a varied portfolio across banking, corporate, funds, regulatory and private wealth matters for offshore clients.

Qualified candidates may be Singapore- or overseas-qualified lawyers with up to one year of transactional experience, or experienced paralegals with 3–5 years in transactional or corporate practice. Eligibility to work in Singapore is required.

Responsibilities

• Support transactional matters from file opening through to closing and post-closing.
• Assist with research, drafting, and matter administration.
• Manage KYC and customer due diligence checks, conditions precedent checklists, execution packs, and fund filings.
• Liaise with registered agents and other counterparties.
• Build a strong working knowledge of offshore legal markets.
