Job summary

DM Financial is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to prepare financial statements for investment funds and vehicles in line with IFRS/GAAP and regulatory requirements. You will develop supporting schedules, liaise with external service providers, and ensure timely delivery for client deadlines.

The role emphasizes accuracy, continuous improvement, and collaboration within a global finance team.

Qualifications

  • Related diploma required
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Ability to plan and prioritise tasks and work independently
  • Experience in accounting is advantageous
  • Knowledge of IFRS/GAAP is beneficial
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365 required
  • Keen to learn and progress in career

Responsibilities

  • Prepare supporting schedules, working papers, and financial statement disclosures using Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools
  • Prepare financial statements for a portfolio of investment funds and investment vehicles in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Assist in ensuring financial statements are prepared accurately, completely, and in accordance with internal quality standards and client deadlines
  • Present completed financial statements to senior team members for review and incorporate feedback in a timely manner
  • Support the planning of financial reporting engagements while managing multiple client deadlines
  • Liaise with investment managers, fund administrators, auditors, and other external service providers to obtain information and resolve financial reporting queries
  • Research accounting issues and complex transactions to determine the appropriate accounting treatment under relevant GAAP and IFRS standards
  • Contribute to continuous process improvements and assist with ad hoc projects as required

What You Will Need


  • Related diploma

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to plan, prioritise between tasks and adhere to strict time deadlines

  • Ability to work on own initiative

  • Some industry experience in an accounting role would be an advantage

  • Academic knowledge of IFRS and GAAP would be an advantage

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365

  • A keen interest in learning and in career progression
