Junior Application Support Engineer ( Java )

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate and troubleshoot production incidents.
• Develop and maintain applications used for system monitoring.
• Involved in Incident Management meetings for major production incidents.
• Assist in coordinating and managing system stability operations such as Disaster Recovery exercises and Quarterly Maintenance as part of the SRE team.
• Participate in the review of changes and their impact on the system as part of the Change Approval Board.
• Contribute to the implementation of best practices for SRE.

Role Requirements:

• Experience in Production tools development and integration is required.
• Experience in Java development, Spring Boot, and microservices is required.
• Fair knowledge of the private banking business processes and functions will be an advantage.
• Ability to collaborate with teams, onsite and offshore, in delivering solutions.
• Good problem-solving skills.
