Job summary

Job description

Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

Work closely with Animal Feed Assistant and Senior Animal Feed Assistant in preparing the food for animals, sending them to designated locations, receiving food that are orderd, performing food quality check and feedback issues to vendors when needed such as,

  • Prepare the diets formulated by Wildlife Nutritionist and deliver to designated locations.
  • Diets are precisely prepared based on the correct items, weight and quantity on the diet sheets.
  • Food is delivered to the correct locations and shipped in appropriate environment.
  • Follow all existing SOPs while performing food preparation and food delivery, including wearing personal-protective equipment (PPE) and work safety.
  • Practice good kitchen hygiene to minimize poor quality risks.
  • Perform good receiving for fresh food items (such as fresh produce)
  • Understand the quality check procedure and standards, reject food when they do not meet our requirement or pose quality issues.
  • Feedback to vendors based on the issues found and report to supervisor of such issues.

Work closely with Wildlife Nutrition Centre and Driver in ensuring the driving safety or colleagues and animals, maintaining vehicles condition and deliver and collect food in a timely manner.

  • Ensure the safety of people & goods on the vehicles and comply all the traffic rules and regulations within or outside the parks.
  • Monitor the condition of the vehicles and ensure they are all in "ready-to-drive" condition. Feedback to Driver/Technical Service team whenever there are issues with the vehicles.
  • Operate the vehicles to faciliate loading and unloading goods.
  • Operate tailgate or crane to facilitate the goods collection/delivery.
  • Obtain cooresponding operating license to perform such tasks.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum GCE 'N' levels and above
  • Heavy lifting (up to 25kg) is required
  • Able to work on weekends and public holidays
  • Able to work outdoors where necessary
  • Added advantage for applicants with a valid Class 3 driving license
