Purpose

Assisting Credit Execution, Corporate Banking Department in Singapore ensuring specific individual tasks, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Job Requirement

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily administrative operations support for APAC
  • Managing calendar, scheduling meetings and appointments.
  • Preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations and taking minutes at meetings.
  • Responding to and/or redirecting inquiries in a timely manner.
• Responsible for addressing and managing sensitive issues and developing and executing operational strategies aligned with business objectives and strategic planning
  • Assisting in the research and analysis of administrative practices.
  • Identifying and analyzing issues and concerns.
• Assisting with the planning, formulating and implementing of reports and recommendations
  • Completing special projects and/or research as assigned.
  • Support compliance efforts by ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Report on compliance and regulatory issues to APAC management and the Board of Directors of SSAL.
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable law expectations, regulatory requirements, policies and procedures.
• Act as a liaison to facilitate communication between Director of Credit Execution with various departments, boards, committees, and external agencies.
  • Represent in conducting business and directing operations.
• Managing office operations and maintaining records,
  • Providing guidance to administrative support staff.
  • Handling confidential and classified matters with a high level of discretion.

Education / Experience / Other Information

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration or any related field.
• Fresh graduate or with at least 1 year of relevant work experience, preferably in the banking industry.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills in English.
• High resilience and ability to work in a fast-changing environment, with strong organization skills and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with expected collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of the local regulatory, political and economic conditions and its effect on the profitability and credit exposure of the Bank is an added advantage.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, PowerPoint and other apps standard in the banking industry.
