Job summary

SCIENTEC CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable Python backend engineer to develop APIs and backend services that support machine learning and Generative AI initiatives in Singapore.

You will work with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and AI agents, coordinate with DevOps and security teams, and help ensure production-grade reliability and responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field with min. 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Python, backend/API development, and AI/ML frameworks.
• Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, or AI agents would be advantageous.
• Understanding of MLOps/LLMOps, model evaluation, monitoring, logging, and production support.
• Familiarity with AWS/GCC, CI/CD, DevSecOps, Responsible AI, security, and data privacy.

Responsibilities
