Job summary

INFOHOST PTE LTD is seeking an experienced AI Solutions Engineer to design and deliver AI-powered tools in close collaboration with clients and internal teams. You will operate at the intersection of applied AI engineering, data science and client partnership - you will work directly with stakeholders to understand their problems, build practical solutions and iterate based on real feedback.

You are comfortable moving between technical implementation and client conversation.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience across software engineering, data science or applied AI, with a track record of shipping working products.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, embeddings, and prompt engineering.
• Proficiency in Python; experience building APIs, data pipelines, and backend services.
• Experience building front-end interfaces or internal tools (React, JavaScript, or similar).
• Expert-level SQL and comfort working with large, messy, real-world datasets.
• Strong communication skills - able to work directly with non-technical clients and present complex ideas clearly.
• Experience scoping and managing AI projects with external stakeholders or clients.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients and business stakeholders to define project scope, assess feasibility, and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Build and deliver AI-powered applications: LLM pipelines, RAG systems, document processing tools, automation workflows and interactive web interfaces.
• Develop custom Python tools, APIs, and backend services tailored to client-specific data and workflows.
• Design human-in-the-loop systems that augment decision-making without replacing human judgment.
• Integrate AI capabilities (embeddings, vector search, evaluation frameworks) into practical, user-facing products.
• Build and maintain front-end interfaces for non-technical users to interact with AI systems.
• Present findings, prototypes, and technical recommendations clearly to client and leadership audiences.
• Manage project workflow: scope, requirements, iteration, and delivery in collaborative environments.
• Apply analytical methods - SQL, statistical analysis, data pipelines - to validate AI output and measure impact.

This role sits at the intersection of applied AI engineering, data science and client partnership - you will work directly with stakeholders to understand their problems, build practical solutions and iterate based on real feedback.

You are comfortable moving between technical implementation and client conversation. You write production-quality code and also know how to explain what you built to someone who doesn't.

• Familiarity with speech-to-text, multilingual NLP, or multimodal AI workflows
• Graduate degree in a quantitative or computational field
