We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant with prior experience in accounting services to join our Singapore team. In this role, you will support SMEs across Southeast Asia and ensure their financial compliance.

Please note: Candidates without relevant accounting services experience may not be considered.

You’ll Be a Great Fit If You Have

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on accounting experience in accounting services.
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles (SFRS).
  • Knowledge of the consolidation process is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage).
  • Good command of English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proactive mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports according to Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
  • Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.

Bookkeeping, Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Manage bookkeeping for payable and receivable invoices.
  • Perform bank transaction imports and reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly reports for clients according to agreed deadlines.

Payroll

  • Assist with payroll processing (payslips, CPF, AIS/IR8A submissions).

Compliance & Taxation

  • Prepare and file Quarterly GST returns.
  • Assist with tax computations and Corporate Income Tax filings.
  • Liaise with clients, external auditors, and government agencies.

Client Support

  • Provide timely support on payments, reconciliations, and reporting requirements.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for accounting-related queries from clients.

Administrative Tasks

  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
  • Handle ad-hoc tasks as required.
